The Next Era of Hosting Starts with Simplicity
More than 15 years inside the hosting industry have given us plenty of reasons to respect infrastructure - and just as many reasons to question why using it still has to be so difficult.
That approach first became real through WordPress, where we helped turn complex hosting operations into a much simpler experience. Working at that level taught us plenty about what infrastructure looks like once it has to survive real workloads and real expectations around reliability, automation, and control.
Today, that experience matters even more, because the rules are changing. AI is collapsing the distance between an idea and working software, opening the door for more people to build, experiment, and deploy than ever before. But every project still has to run somewhere - and too often, the choice is between giving up control to a managed platform or taking on far more infrastructure work than most people ever wanted.
We believe there is another way: the server can still be yours, the freedom can still be yours, but the complexity does not have to be. At the center of that direction is PanelAlpha Engine, a technology designed to provide a controlled layer between applications, servers, users, and the tools they work with - with AI increasingly becoming the front door to that infrastructure.
PanelAlpha is being built for a much broader future - one in which creating software becomes dramatically easier, infrastructure remains open and under the user's control, and running an application no longer needs to be the hardest part of building one.
