# Google PageSpeed Insights

Google PageSpeed Insights is utilized to capture screenshots of instances and measure the loading speed of webpages.

It is a valuable tool that examines the speed and performance of your website on both desktop and mobile devices. It offers practical recommendations to enhance loading times and enhance the overall user experience.

# Installation

The installation process is automated, requiring no manual intervention on your part. You can proceed directly to the configuration step without any additional actions needed.

# Configuration

  1. Enable the integration and click the "Configure" button. This will redirect you to a form where you will find a URL that you need to use for the Google Page Speed configuration.

  2. Upon opening the page, you will encounter the following:

  3. Scroll down to the "Acquiring and using an API Key" section and click the "Get a Key" button. If you are not already logged in, log in to your Google account. Choose to either create a new project or select from the available options. Click "Next" to proceed.

  4. Click "Show Key" to reveal the generated key. This key is essential for starting your journey with PageSpeed Insights development. Copy the generated key.

  5. Return to your PanelAlpha platform configuration. Paste the newly generated key and click the "Update" button. You're all set and ready to go!
